Worked examples of whale signals and follow-ups

Two example signal cards, one full lifecycle timeline. Markets, wallets, and sizes below are illustrative placeholders. Real signals appear on the free Telegram and on the track record.

Example - whale_accumulation

Sustained directional buying on one market

A single wallet repeatedly buys the same side of one market over a short window, above the rule's size threshold. The signal records wallet, market, side, detected size, entry price, and timestamp. Follow-ups extend the picture but never become new signals.

What this is and is not

  • Is: a timestamped public observation of large directional BUY activity on Polymarket.
  • Is not: a buy/sell instruction, an execution signal, or financial advice.
  • Resolution: scored once when the market closes; unresolved markets are excluded from accuracy.

Example - large_directional_entry

A single large BUY entry above threshold

A single large entry by one wallet on one market is enough to trigger this rule when the size threshold is met. The signal is BUY-only; SELL events are rejected before evaluation.

What follow-ups can look like here

  • Added conviction - more BUY NO from the same wallet on the same market.
  • Take-profit - SELL NO above entry, inferred from price.
  • Stop-loss - SELL NO below entry, inferred from price.
  • Hedge - BUY YES on the same market without closing NO.
  • Reversal - close NO and open YES on the same market.

Example lifecycle - one full path

Original signal -> added conviction -> take-profit -> resolved

The original signal counts once after market resolution. The follow-ups in between describe what the wallet did, not whether the original signal was right.

Will [Example Event] happen by Q3 2026? (YES) EXAMPLE
  1. 14:07:00 UTC Signal BUY YES @ 0.41 / ~$18,400 (whale_accumulation)
  2. 18:42:00 UTC Added conviction BUY YES @ 0.46 / ~$9,100
  3. +19h 08m Partial exit (take-profit) SELL YES @ 0.71 / ~$12,000 (inferred from price)
  4. +4d 07h 53m Market resolved YES Original signal: WON. Follow-up quality: added conviction + partial take-profit.
Why follow-ups are not new wins. The wallet's added conviction and partial take-profit are useful context, but the headline number for accuracy is whether the original signal direction matched the resolved market outcome. That is one count - won. The follow-up labels are reported alongside, not instead of, the original signal.
